Luke 8:51-53

51 Now when he came to the house, Jesus[a] did not let anyone go in with him except Peter, John,[b] and James, and the child’s father and mother. 52 Now they were all[c] wailing and mourning[d] for her, but he said, “Stop your weeping; she is not dead but asleep!” 53 And they began making fun[e] of him, because they knew[f] that she was dead.[g]
